Once a month, on the Shabbat before Rosh Chodesh, Happy Minyan provides a hot lunch to all those who wish to join. This tradition honors the coming of the new moon and it also pays homage to our Rebbe, Shlomo Carlebach.
Reb Shlomo went to great lengths to make every Jew he encountered feel welcomed, included and even important. Although our Minyan is nestled between the prominent neighborhoods of Beverlywood and Beverly Hills, we cannot ignore that there are still those who do not have a place to go for Shabbat lunch; those who do not feel included. Please join us in the Mitzvah of caring for our fellow Jew by fully or partially sponsoring a Shabbat Mevarchim Hakodesh Lunch.
Sponsoring a lunch or an embellished kiddush is also a wonderful way to commemorate a yahrtzeit, celebrate a special occasion or honor a loved one. If you have any questions about choosing a date or want to speak with us about menu details, please use the comment box below or email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
