From mid October to mid March we begin our Leil Shabbat service when Shabbat begins. During these months Mincha on Fridays will always begin at the candle lighting time for that week, followed by Kabbalat Shabbat and maariv.

Moshav Mevo Modiim, founded by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach zt’’l and renowned for its hospitality and warmth, was burned to the ground by raging wildfires. Dozens of families who are now homeless and possess nothing need your immediate help.
Among these families are the parents and two brothers (and their wives and children) of Yehuda Solomon, who has been the chazan and member of our shul for nearly 20 years. The Solomon family has brought the world so much joy and spirit through their Jewish music. For decades they opened their homes to anyone who wished to experience a Carlebach Shabbos on the Moshav and used their common garden for communal musical havdallahs and melaveh malkas. Now they need us to help them through this time of trauma and to rebuild their lives.
