The Happy Minyan provides free, daytime childcare programming on Shabbat and High Holidays. Our childcare facility is loving called The Loft – a clean, bright and safe space located just above the shul at 9214 West Pico Blvd. Access is limited to childcare providers and the children and parents of the childcare program.  We currently provide two age groups, our Simcha Buddies (ages 6 months to 5 years) and our Pre-Teens (ages 6 to 11 years old).

Our warm and safe childcare program is run by Morah Jenna Rubin. Jenna has her Masters in Education and has been working in the field of Jewish Early Childhood Education for over 15 years. She has been a Nursery School Director, a Jewish Curriculum Specialist and a teacher of young children in the Los Angeles area. She currently teaches kindergarten at Hillel Hebrew Academy while raising three little ones of her own along with her husband, Seth.

Gave is a Senior High School student who previously worked in childcare at Temple Beth Am. He leads our pre-teens with a big smile and lots of great energy!
